Jan 30th: MAJOR ANNOUCEMENT. Irish Canadian Rugby Club to merge with the Markham RRFC for the 2010 season. Click here for details.
Jan 30th: Taylor Paris named in the Senior Canadian Men's Sevens squad that will travel to Wellington, New Zealand and Las Vegas. Click here for details.
Jan 21st: Ontario Blues announce an open trial is to be held on February 27th at Varsity Stadium from 7am - 9am. Click here for the invitation letter from Les Gilson.
Jan 19th: Special General Meeting called for all members of the Irish Canadian Rugby Club on Thursday, January 28th at 7pm at the Eglinton Memorial Community Centre, 200 Eglinton Ave West. Please be there. Check your email for further details

Nov 27th: Pat Quinn, owner of PJ O'Briens and The Irish Embassy, died this past Monday. Two of his sons played for the club. Arrangements are as follows: The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00- 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Funeral mass will be held in ST. MICHAEL CATHEDRAL, 'S 65 Bond Street on Saturday (Nov 28th, 2009) at 10am.
Nov 19th: ICRC sad to announce the death of Jeanne O'Brien, wife of long time ICRC supporter Frank. Our Condolences go to Frank and family. For funeral details click here

Nov 3rd: Congratulations to Megan Gibbs and Tabitha Stavrou who have been selected to the Canadian Senior Women's Tour to France in November. The Canadian Women will be playing two matches against the French national team with one test match being played at Stade de France immediately following the France vs Western Samoa test match

Aug 26: Ontario Rugby Team wins gold at the Canada Summer Games. Congratulations to Taylor Paris, ICRC junior player, who scored a try. Click here for details (if link does not work click here)
Aug 24: Irish Senior women defeat London St George 27 to 5 to move into the Ontario Womne's League Cup Final versus Toronto Scottish. Cup Final to be played on Saturday August 29th at Fletchers Field. Kick off at 12pm. Please come out and support the Irish women.

July 30: Irish junior women defeat previously undefeated Nomads 34 - 10.
July 26: Irish senior men post win against the Beach on Alumni Day. In a game played in torrential rain for 80 minutes Irish prevailed on an Adam Moody penalty. A last minute penalty in front of the posts for Beach had Irish players and supporters on edge, only to be shocked and relieved when the kick failed to go between the sticks.

July 15: U18 men go to 3 - 1 after overcoming the Georgian Bay Titans 12-10 with a try in the final two minutes at Collingwood. The win leaves Irish in 2nd place in the North Division. The Irish Junior Women bounced back from their Sunday loss to beat Saracens 29 - 0.
July 13: Congratulations to Mitch Fenech who was selected in the Ontario Under 17 side and Taylor Paris who was selected in the Ontario Under 18 side.

April 27: Sad News. We have just learned that Sean Lynch died recently. Sean was Club Captain on two occasions in the early 1970's and was a member of two Carling Cup and three Ontario League winning teams. Click here for details.
