Paddy Allen

Paddy Allen former Ist XV Capt 1961 died recently at his home in Newtonabbey N, Ireland as the result of a Stroke.

Paddy played for the I.C.R.C. from 1957 -1962 before returning to Ireland. He was a member of the winning I.C.R.C. Seven-A-Side team of 1958. A feat not repeated by the Club until a few years ago.

Paddy played for and Captained Ontario.

He was also a keen social member of the Club and was famous for his Party piece ''Old Harry Was A Bolshie"

He and his Wife Anne attended our 50th Celebrations in 2000.
